Why Cleanse?
Juice Cleansing is a great way to give your digestive system a rest while pumping your body with vital and live vitamins, minerals, nutrients, and enzymes. It also boosts the immune system. Juice cleansing can help with a myriad of symptoms: allergies, toxicity, fertility issues, skin issues, digestive issues, depression, sluggishness, weight loss, insomnia, high blood pressure, memory loss, and thyroid function…just to name a few. Wherever you are in your diet, Juice Cleansing can jumpstart you into a pattern of better health and better choices.
What is Pressed Juice?
Most juicers process at a speed of 1,650 to 16,000 RPM, causing juice to degrade shortly after being extracted. This is fine if you are immediately consuming your juice. Pressed juice is a different form of extraction where we use a hydraulic press to slowly extract the juice. This method prevents oxidation and allows juice to be stored for up to 72 hours without losing it’s vitality.
Our Cleansing Programs:
We are offering two different types of cleanses: Beginner, Advanced, and Ultimate. You will receive 6 juices a day for 3 days. Each juice is 18 ounces. We are not doctors and we are not qualified to treat or diagnose any issues you may be having. We provide juice to people who choose to do juice cleanses. We recommend speaking to your doctor or qualified naturopath if you have any questions or concerns. When you pick up your cleanse package, you will find each beverage is labeled 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc. The first number represents the day and the second number, the order they should be consumed. You may choose to consume each juice a few hours apart or sip them slowly throughout the day as you are hungry.
Before:
We believe that your body is more intelligent than anything you may read out there. Please listen to your cravings and choose the healthiest option available to you. Example: If you are craving bread, eat a whole grain. If you are craving dessert, eat a piece of fruit. Our bodies are experts at balance and cravings are strong indicators of what you need for that balance. Before you cleanse, you should clean up your diet in the days leading up to the cleanse. Avoid caffiene, sugar, breads and pasta, dairy, and alcohol. Try to eat a balanced diet of fruits and veggies, whole grains, legumes and if you must, clean meats. We recommend a raw/vegan diet as much as possible at least 3 days before the cleanse for best results but again, as always, LISTEN TO YOUR BODY AND INSTINCTS. Also, remember to drink lots of water and make sure you get all your good essential fatty acids.
During:
Try to take it easy on yourself during your cleanse.
Get as much rest as possible.
Drink plenty of water.
Keep your workouts to a minimum...stretching, walks, gentle yoga is recommended.
Scrub your skin vigorously to eliminate toxins. Your skin is your largest organ!
To further rid yourself from toxins you may choose to get a colonic during this time or drink some laxative tea (we love Traditional Medicinals Smooth Move)
If you must eat, try a bit of sea salt and some raw fruits or veggies or some homemade veggie broth if you need warm nourishment.
You can continue to take your nutritional supplements during your cleanse.
After:
We recommend breaking your fast the same way you eased into it. Start with raw fruits and veggies and more juice if possible. Slowly add cooked veggies and after 3 days or so you can start building up to your ideal, balanced, clean diet.
